When you're expecting a baby, you want to be sure you have access to experienced and respected obstetricians and maternal fetal medicine physicians. St. Luke's University Health Network's medical professionals are highly skilled and well-regarded. Our labor and delivery team is sensitive to the unique, one-of-a-kind experience each birth brings to a family.

Our team of dedicated obstetricians, nurses and lactation consultants are passionate about women's health.

Nurse navigators

An OB Nurse Navigator is a dedicated healthcare professional assigned to guide you through your entire pregnancy journey. They provide personalized support, education, and coordination of care. From initial intake to postpartum follow-up, the nurse navigator is your primary point of contact for any questions or concerns. They will help you understand your pregnancy, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth transition into motherhood.

Women & Babies Pavilions

The most trusted birth centers.

Our state-of-the-art facilities offer parents the comforts of a safe, family-centered atmosphere to welcome their new babies into the world. Skilled professionals, including nurses, board-certified anesthesiologists and obstetricians, are available 24 hours a day to care for you and your baby. Once your baby is born, pediatricians make daily rounds, and internationally board-certified lactation consultants are available to help new mothers who choose to nurse their newborns.


The units have:

  • Single patient labor-delivery-recovery (LDR) rooms
  • Single-patient postpartum rooms with private bathrooms
  • A triage area with an early labor lounge, family waiting area and operating rooms for Cesarean deliveries

Programs & Resources

St. Luke’s University Health Network is pleased to offer a wide variety of childbirth and parenting classes. Learning options include virtual instructor-led, self-paced and in-person classes. Class capacities are limited so we recommend early registration to ensure you can reserve your desired date.
