Faculty strive to produce effective leaders in pediatric physical therapy while advancing clinical decision-making and expertise. Our faculty promote family-centered care and evidence-based practice. We accept 3 PPT resident per year.

PROGRAMS GOALS

The goals of the Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency program are as follows:

  • Improve your knowledge and skills: Residents will effectively diagnose and treat patients with pediatric disorders demonstrating a high level of care using evidence-based clinical skills.
  • Become a leader: Residents will be ambassadors for physical therapy through mentoring, teaching, marketing, and interprofessional collaboration across the continuum of care.
  • Develop your passion: Residents will demonstrate humility & lifelong learning through continuing competence activities.
  • Family-Centered Care: Consistently develop strong therapeutic alliance with patients and families.
