Curriculum
The fellow will have the following rotations:
- 2 blocks of plastic and reconstructive surgery
- 8 blocks of podiatric medicine/surgery and wound care at St. Luke’s campuses
- 1 week rotation Microsurgical Techniques and Skills Training Course (reimbursed via the fellow’s GME allowance)
- 2 blocks of podiatric surgery with reconstructive rear/foot ankle surgery with Dr. Zachary Ritter at UPMC Williamsport
- 1 block of vascular surgery
St. Luke’s Limb Preservation fellows take advantage of many educational opportunities, including weekly didactic lectures, research seminars, journal clubs, individual mentoring, board review lecture series, and participation in professional committees.
