Temple/St. Luke’s School of Medicine is the Lehigh Valley's first and only medical school, where students study and train locally all four years of their education. Our goal is to attract the most talented medical students to learn, train and grow their careers in the Lehigh Valley—all to help lessen the impact of an ongoing national doctor shortage and ensure our region has access to quality health care.

One of our top fundraising priorities is providing scholarships to support tuition costs and recruit students. Generous donors have provided $25M for endowed scholarships, with a goal to grow this endowment to $50M in the coming years. Where medical students choose to practice is strongly influenced by the communities in which they learn. Your financial investment through an endowed scholarship is critical to retaining them in the Lehigh Valley and has significant long-term benefits for our region’s health care.
