St. Luke’s Sleep Medicine Fellowship
St. Luke’s Sleep Fellowship is a one-year ACGME accredited program that accepts two fellows per year. It is a structured, clinical training experience for fellows to become competent in the field of sleep medicine and prepared for ABIM and/or AOA Board Examination.
Fellows will have the opportunity to learn from multiple subspecialists to create a diverse clinical experience. A focus on comprehensive clinical training, procedure and device exposure, educational conferences, research, and instruction of other learners will be a part of the learning experience. In addition, the fellow will have the opportunity to help personalize their experience through tailored experiences. Fellows learn best practices to improve patient health outcomes and promote awareness within the community. With a large volume and diverse array of sleep patients seen each year.
St Luke’s expanding graduate medical educational program and medical school allows the opportunity to teaching other learners, residents, and medical students on rotation. Additional scholarly activities include continuing education conferences, quality improvement, and research opportunities. Participation in both local and national conferences will be encouraged.
Fellows learn best practices to improve patient health outcomes and promote awareness within the community. Fellows are trained to provide compassionate patient care that respects cultural differences and seeks to reduce health disparities.
