St. Luke’s helped me through all my questions and fears as I decided to have the sleeve gastrectomy. Having the surgery was the best decision I have ever made! I feel like I have been given a new life. I’m enjoying things I couldn’t do before surgery and my self-esteem has improved dramatically. I have more energy in general and am just happier overall. My advice to people considering surgery is: Don’t be scared. The surgery is a way to gain back your life and St. Luke’s staff and bari-buddies will help you every step of the way.
