Dr. O’Toole believes in putting the best interest of the patient first in all decisions involving the patient’s medical care. He values long-term relationships in which the patient is a partner with him in determining the course of care.

Dr. O'Toole is a native of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia. He finished his residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Rochester in New York.

Dr. O'Toole has been in private practice in gastroenterology since 1991. He has a special interest in endoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

His interests outside of medicine include music, literature, art and winter sports, particularly hockey and skiing. He resides in Chalfont with his family.
