As a board-certified sports medicine physician, I understand my patients, and I desire to provide excellent care to each one of them. My goal is to help them achieve the best possible individualized care.
I provide non-operative fracture care, nutrition guaidance, care for athletic injuries and student physicals, as well as ultrasound-guided injections for various ailments such as osteoarthritis of the knees, hips, and shoulders. I also perform regenerative medicine injuections with plasma-rich protein, which can help promote healing for conditions such as tennis elbow (epicondylitis) and Achilles tendinitis among other issues.
I earned my medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a residency at Saint Vincent's Hospital and a fellowship at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem.
I am a devoted husband and father of three. I love dogs, and I have two German Shepherds. Outside of work, I enjoy online gaming.

“I was very pleased with the outcome of my visit with Dr Mc Cafferty. He explained the procedure step by step. He drained Bakers Cyst behind both knees. He also gave me a cortisone injection in each knee. I had complete relief of my symptoms. I haven't felt this good in quite some time. It really did improve my quality of life.”

“This was the 1st time my mother went to this orthopedic dr for her knee. They took Xrays right away and gave us 2 options. My mother chose infections instead of knee replacement. Everyone there was very helpful and courteous. It was a very pleasant experience.”
