I firmly believe in the importance of a strong family unit as a cornerstone of a better and more robust society. Throughout my years in practice, I have worked with diverse family structures, and I have prioritized integrating family members in coordinating care to achieve better health outcomes.
I am a board-certified pediatrician with over 35 years of experience serving the Philipsburg, NJ and the Greater Lehigh Valley community. During my career, I have encountered a wide range of medical cases, from simple to complex.
I have been active in voluntary work in many countries, such as Kenya, Guatemala and Costa Rica, where I collected health data for research. Additionally, I have volunteered as a medical officer during the 21st Central American and Caribbean Games in Puerto Rico, providing medical care to injured athletes.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy various activities, including walking, swimming, hiking, boogie boarding and pursuing creative interests such as music, sketching and artistic expression. I have a passion for learning new words and expressions from foreign languages, which I’ve had the chance to do while treating patients from diverse backgrounds and traveling abroad. I also enjoy reading high-quality literature, playing string instruments, singing and practicing meditation.
