My love of science and people were the driving reasons I entered medicine – medicine gave me the chance to bring both things I loved into one career. I enjoy the journey of problem-solving and utilizing the wide variety of tools available in medicine that can resolve a patient’s problem, or at least help them manage a condition. I am your wellness navigator, providing guidance as we make the right decisions for you personally and together as a care team.
I like to challenge patients to identify one attainable goal or change that they can accomplish this week in an effort to live the life they wish to live. It is so important to carve "me time" out of your schedule for self care, whether it be for exercise, hobbies, or some other form of stress relief. So often, if this "appointment" is not reserved, another task will occupy this intended time.
I am active with my church, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I also enjoy running, movies, international cuisine, skiing, and my dogs.
“I had to bring my daughter in for a last minute appointment for an issue we were having. The schedulers got us in right away with Dr. Eiswerth. We do not normally see her, but I was impressed with her. She knew why we were there and reviewed all pertinent information with us to help us figure out what to do. She gave good advice and I was pleased with the time she spent with us, especially as we were there in a last minute appointment. She gave my daughter a thorough exam to check that things were okay. I would see her again if the need arises.”
