St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Quakertown

I am a board eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. I am passionate about taking care of athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to competitive athletes. Having personally experienced multiple broken bones, ligament tears and surgeries, I understand the cycle of pain, immobilization and rehabilitation. I utilize a team approach to patient care between the patient, therapists and surgeon with the ultimate goal of eliminating pain, optimizing function and returning to an active lifestyle.
Born and raised in Tampa, FL, I moved to the Northeast to advance my orthopedic training among many of the nation’s top surgeons in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Boston. I have experience in complex arthroscopic surgery, cartilage restoration, joint replacement, and trauma. During my fellowship, I worked as a team physician for the Boston Red Sox organization as well as several Division I, II, III colleges and high schools.
Along with providing outstanding patient care, I believe strongly in the importance of advancing the field of orthopedics through involvement in research, leadership and education. I have authored numerous peer reviewed journal articles and presented research at several national conferences and meetings. I am a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO). I feel a sense of purpose in the sports community, and I embrace the challenges of a field that is technically demanding and rapidly evolving.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family. I am an avid sports fan, and I maintain an active lifestyle including running, weightlifting, golf and surfing.
