I am passionate about caring for children and genuinely enjoy my work as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I believe knowing my patients and spending time with their families is essential because they know their children better than anyone else. I strive to listen to their concerns, address their needs and work together to optimize their physical and emotional health. I love kids of all ages, stages, shapes and sizes and have a special place in my heart for LGBTQ children, adolescents and their families.
I have over 25 years of experience caring for Lehigh Valley children. I grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. After completing my bachelor's degree in nursing, I joined the Air Force. While stationed in San Antonio, TX, I worked as a nurse on the pediatric floor and the pediatric ICU. I later earned a master's degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Seton Hall University and am nationally certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Before being hired by St Luke's, I worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a private practice in Allentown for over 20 years. I joined St Luke's in 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new families and caring for some familiar faces. St Luke's has allowed me to network with other pediatric primary care providers and specialists to expand my medical knowledge and improve the care I provide.
I am married and have two adult children and two adult stepchildren. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. I stay active by walking, fishing and participating in spin classes at the gym. I take pleasure in attending the theater, both professionally and locally. I also spend time exploring new places through travel and giving back to the community by volunteering with my church and through various St Luke's programs.
