St. Luke's Spine & Pain Associates - East Stroudsburg
I am an anesthesiologist with additional fellowship training in interventional pain medicine. I believe patient care is a partnership requiring equal effort between the physician and patient. My goal is to provide compassionate care by listening and learning as much as I can about my patients in order to develop a treatment plan that heavily emphasizes improvement in function and quality of life. My treatment philosophy involves using a treatment strategy that minimizes the use of opioid medications and utilizes safe, minimally invasive procedures in properly selected patients.
I treat a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to, degenerative disease of the neck and back, pain secondary to spinal stenosis, headache, complex regional pain syndrome, and diabetic neuropathy.
I am particularly interested in neuromodulation, including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation and their growing application in treating chronic pain.
I earned my medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine and Ross University School of Medicine. I completed a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship at Allegheny Health Network. I am a current member of the American Board of Anesthesiology, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by hiking and running. I also enjoy taking road trips with my wife and our crazy puppy, Barkley. I am a big-time New York Giants fan and a lover of good music and good coffee.

“The Doctor was totally thorough, spent a lot of time examining me and putting my legs into many positions to determine exactly what was causing me so much pain. He was totally kind, caring, and thorough. At the end of the exam, he made arrangements for me to have a shot to relieve the terrible pain I had endured for so many weeks. He was kind, considerate and I soon had an appointment for that shot in a few days. I recommend him highly!”
