I chose a career in family medicine so that I could form longstanding relationships with my patients, and partner with them to achieve their physical and mental health goals. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, and I am excited to join the team at St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care.
Professionally, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton and my medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my residency in family medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital Bethlehem Campus where I had the privilege of serving as chief resident during the last year of my training. I am currently board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Outside of the office, I love spending time with my husband and our dog Finnegan. I enjoy quality time spent with family and friends, as well as running, traveling, cooking and baking.

“Dr mentioned she wished she was able to spend more time with her patients during the visit but was only allotted so much time being that patients were waiting to be seen. I was not at all rushed she was thorough and addressed all my concerns as I have much health issues. I will address my other not so urgent concerns on my upcoming visit. I understand other patients need to be seen.”

“I have often recommended Dr Donovan to friends and locals in Palmerton. My wife and I both use her as our primary General Care Physician. While still a very young doctor, she delivers EXCELLENT care and takes a lot of time with her patients and has genuine concern. Dr Donovan did discover a congenital issue around my heart that certainly would have been fatal if not addressed. That was three years ago. I hold her in the highest regard!”

“Extremely thoughtful and courteous. Took her time with me in fact ended up running late for the remainder of her day. I needed that talk. She is very good at what she does”

“I was sad to hear that Dr. DONOVAN was leaving for a teaching position. I moved here from Philadelphia 4yrs ago and she has been the best Doctor I've ever had! She truly listened to me and my concerns. I will miss her but she will be a wonderful teacher in her new position.”
