As a maternal-fetal medicine subspecialist, I have dedicated my career to the care of high-risk pregnancies. Pregnancy can be both a very special time and a very stressful time for families, and it is a privilege to help take care of those who may be facing a more challenging pregnancy.
I am a board-certified OB-GYN and completed my residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. I recently completed my maternal-fetal medicine fellowship training in 2022 at the University of Colorado, and am excited to return to Pennsylvania and join the St. Luke’s team.
While I have a broad range of clinical interests, I am most passionate about patient-centered care that considers the entire individual from their personal lives and unique backgrounds to their specific medical needs. I am also very interested in medical teaching and global health. My research has focused on the interplay of maternal disorders and fetal/neonatal outcomes as well as finding additional ways that ultrasound can help identify markers of future fetal outcomes.
Outside of work, you can find me playing music and cooking for friends and family. I also love spending time outdoors and enjoy hiking, biking and camping.

“Our experience with Dr Hamidi was excellent; this was by far the best interaction we have had with any provider throughout the pregnancy. The ultrasound technician and Dr Hamidi both let my husband and myself know what was going on throughout the ultrasound scan and the visit. Although I am a nurse, it is hard to think like a medical professional when there may be a huge problem with your baby, and the doctor was very clear and kind in her explanation of what was going on. She had clearly reviewed my chart, our paperwork, and the ultrasounds prior to entering the room to speak with us, and she allowed us every opportunity to discuss our concerns without making us feel rushed. Even though the office was not the closest to us, I would recommend the provider and this office to anybody and intend to return to this site to see Dr Hamidi for future visits.”

“I am beyond impressed with the care from the fetal medicine team at Saint Luke's. We have had excellent experiences every time. Seeing this doctor for the first time was just as good as our last! She is pleasant, friendly, easy to talk with, patient, knowledgeable, and took her time with us. She talked through situations with me/us and offered her expertise while listening to concerns. Very appreciative of the visit!”
