I am a pediatrician who takes pride in understanding each family’s unique journey. The greatest joy of being a pediatrician is getting to know babies and young children and playing an active role as they grow into teenagers. My passion lies in promoting a healthy lifestyle focusing on nutrition, exercise and emotional well-being. I also enjoy helping parents navigate the needs of children with complex medical conditions.
In my role, I will also have the opportunity to teach future pediatricians, which I look forward to.
I grew up in New Jersey near the shore. I spent several years in Philadelphia and graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine. I returned closer to home for my pediatric residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. After completing my residency in 2020, I worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a pediatric hospitalist in the Children’s Cancer Center. I appreciated building relationships with patients during difficult times and witnessing their progress. This experience led me to pursue a pediatric hematology and oncology fellowship in 2021. I realized during the second year of my fellowship that my most fulfilling experiences involved building connections with families. I knew that being a pediatrician would be the best fit for my personality. I was excited about this opportunity at St. Luke’s Coopersburg Pediatrics, which offers an ideal balance of being immersed in the community while working in a dynamic academic setting. I started in fall 2023 and love being part of our wonderful team!
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our families. We love to explore the outdoors while hiking, traveling and visiting national parks. My hobbies include photography and underwater adventures. We look forward to raising a family in this beautiful and very kid-friendly part of Pennsylvania.
