My name is Dr. Ortiz and I am a family medicine doctor. I am board certified in family medicine with the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. One thing I love about family medicine, is that I can see and treat patients of all ages! In addition to standard primary care services, I also provide women’s health services, osteopathic manipulative medicine and lifestyle medicine education for my patients.

As an osteopathic physician, I take pride in the more holistic approach to patient care that our osteopathic training is known for. I am a local to the St. Luke’s University Health Network region, having grown up in the small town of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. I completed my medical school training at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and returned to the Lehigh Valley to complete my residency in Family Medicine at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus.

It has been my passion to serve as a family doctor for a rural town in Pennsylvania and am thrilled to be invited to serve the Pottsville region with Geisinger St. Luke’s.

Outside of work, my fiancé and I enjoy hiking, live music, traveling, cooking and cheering on all Philadelphia sports teams!
