“I arrived 20 minutes late and had to reschedule. I take full ownership for this error as I thought I had the time in for the 15 minute early arrival but I did the sign in online at home so I assumed I was the actual appt. When I arrived C.(front desk) told me I couldn't be seen due to being 20 minutes late. She was very kind and said that she would text my provider as she might be able to see me at lunch. At the same time, she set me up for a later afternoon appointment with another provider. I opted for the PM appt. When I arrived home, I called C to see if she would text NP Melissa for the option to be seen at lunch time. She did so and the NP kindly had me come in prior to her, and likely cutting into her lunch which I truly appreciated. I appreciated how C. handled this as I needed to be seen and she was also solo at the sign in desk that day but took the time to help me get seen. This office runs smoothly and values the time of the patient so being on the other side of being seen on time - I see how tightly they manage the schedule. Being on time does matter on both sides. Bottom line, I felt like she listened and problem solved with me. Secondly, NP Melissa did request an Xray which I got on Monday. On Thursday morning, I messaged my PCP about outcome of Xray and script and NP Melissa got back to me to say they messaged reading room for results. Later that day, based on Xray results released, NP Melissa did send in a script to pharmacy. Additionally, office followed up to indicate same. Although the message from me was not urgent, the response was quick. It gives me confidence to know my PCP team is competent and always there via messaging/phone. Thank you.”
