St. Luke's Bushkill Family Practice
I was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where my family has lived for generations. I was accepted into an accelerated course of study at Wilkes University and Hahnemann University. I was able to earn both my Bachelor’s and my medical degree in just six years. After obtaining my degrees and board certification in 1986, I opened my medical practice in Bath, PA. We joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2010.
Having been in the community for so long, I really enjoy getting to know my patients and growing with them. We often see multiple generations of families as patients bring their teenage children or elderly parents in. New patients are always welcome.
I am a primary care physician, who is board certified in internal medicine. I provide general medical care, school physicals, hospital care, preoperative evaluations, and care for chronic medical conditions.

“I came in for tick bites ( 3), I actually picked 2 of them off of me, aches and pains and an inflamed middle toe. I have no fever. Just aches and pains. When the dr. Came in we went thru the normal questions. I tried to show her where I picked off ticks and explained Im single and might possibley either have picked off one in the middle of my back or maybe its there or partially there. She never checked that, barely looked at one on my side and the one on my neck. I wasnt sent for a blood test before or after my appointment and was not told to get one in a month. I was given amox. For possible lyme disease, I suggested I take doxycyline, she gave me amox. Next was my toe, it was really red for about a week, the whole toe, it was 1/2 toe red when I got there. She looked at it, didnt know what it could be and asked if I wanted an xray, we both agreed .............no. She prescribed diclofenac. My toe is still inflamed, It actually aches. Why wasnt I sent for a blook test ??? Why wasnt it suggested that I get one when I finiish the amox. I was asked if I wanted to make this my yearly check up. I said yes.............now I say no. Im very unhappy witht the whole experience. I felt like she didnt want to touch me...........very embarrassing. She made little or no effort to check my bites. Im a clean person, was dressed so it would be easy to check my back and neck. Im very very disappointed.”
