Kathryn "Katie" Terry earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at University of Hartford, where she received Professor Recognition and Leadership Awards during her tenure. She has become a Certified Speed and Agility Coach as well as earned her Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and is pursuing further accreditation through the McKenzie Institute International. Dr. Terry has been practicing in orthopedic Physical Therapy her entire career and is the Orthopedic Program Manager at Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s – Hillcrest. Katie is faculty in the St. Luke’s University Health Network Spine Physical Therapy Fellowship, has been recognized as an Advanced Spine Care Practitioner in the hospital network and is a Primary Care Physical Therapist through St. Luke’s Comprehensive Spine Program. While treating patients with an array of diagnoses, she has worked primarily with patients with spine pain and pain of spinal origin. Her practice philosophy is comprised of a heavy emphasis on education and cultivating patient independence for self-management.
