My name is John, but most people know me by Jay. I graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 2009. Upon graduation, I attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing and graduated in 2013 with my Diploma in Nursing. I began my nursing career at St. Luke’s Allentown Campus, where I worked for eight years, gaining experience in cardiac medicine and emergency medicine. Over those eight years, I earned my BSN and MSN degrees from Moravian College.
I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined St. Luke’s Center for Urology in 2022. I currently treat adult male and female urology patients in the outpatient setting in both Schuylkill and Carbon counties. I treat a wide range of patients with blood in the urine (hematuria), benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction (ED), stone disease, urinary tract infection (UTI), overactive bladder and a variety of urologic cancers.
My professional goal is to give back to my community by consistently providing up-to-date, evidence-based care. I hope to develop strong relationships with my patients and their families to provide the best care possible.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three boys. My hobbies include playing softball, golfing, hunting and coaching my sons.
