I take great pride, as a physician specializing in anesthesiology and critical care medicine, in helping patients undergo surgery safely and recover comfortably in our surgical environment. I am professionally gratified by stabilizing the hospital’s most acutely ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). I aim to not only take care of my patients but also support their loved ones.
Joining St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2019, I have served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs, Anesthesia Medical Director and ICU Medical Director at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital.
I am board-certified in anesthesia, critical care medicine and neurological critical care. I am proficient at point-of-care ultrasounds including echocardiography and ultrasound-guided procedures such as central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis and peripheral nerve blocks.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling abroad and engaging with my audience as an author, speaker, blogger and micro-influencer.
