I believe the doctor-patient relationship is one of the most important facets in medicine. As a podiatrist, I aim to develop good relationships with my patients and use my skills in order to facilitate a healthy mind, body and spirit. I believe being able to walk without limitations is an important part of enabling this to happen. It is my job to provide a welcoming atmosphere and give knowledgeable advice to help patients have successful means and options to heal.
I am a surgical podiatrist trained in all aspects of lower extremity care at St. Luke’s University Health Network. In an outpatient setting, my practice is dedicated to maximizing non-operative treatments whenever possible but, having received excellent surgical residency training here at St. Luke’s, my surgical toolbox is broad and I can address many foot and ankle pathologies surgically if needed. In an inpatient setting, I am well versed in diabetic limb salvage, lower extremity wound care and fracture care.
I earned my medical degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network. I am a board qualified foot and ankle surgeon and am actively pursuing full certification. My specialties within podiatry are focused on forefoot and rearfoot pathologies with a concentration in limb salvage and wound care.
My passions outside of medicine include hiking, camping, horticulture, domestic and international travel, spicy food, vintage clothing, foreign films and vinyl. My significant other and I recently adopted a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees-German Shepard named Gandalf (we are huge Lord of the Rings fans), who we absolutely adore!
