I’ve always felt that it’s especially important to take care of the wellness of women because in many instances, they are the center of the family. I encourage them to know and listen to their bodies and then communicate any concerns to me - that collaboration between physician and patient is so important for maintaining a healthy body and mind.

I have extensive training in laparoscopic surgery, which enables me to perform complex surgeries without overnight hospital admission. I have experience with high volume, high risk obstetrics, sexual dysfunction and hormone replacement therapy. I am also bilingual which helps establish and strengthen my connections with my Spanish-speaking patients.

I earned my medical degree at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a residency at George Washington University School of Medicine.

I like being active in my personal life, which often means outdoor activities with my husband and daughter. I also like to garden and cook, especially ethnic foods. I love to read whenever I get the chance, even if it’s audio books.
