Thoracic Oncology Program – Medical Director (Bethlehem / Miners), Neuro Oncology – Medical Director (Bethlehem)
I have been a key contributor to the development of the Lung Cancer Program and the Brain Tumor Working Group at St. Luke's University Health Network. I work in close collaboration with our thoracic surgeons, neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists to treat patients with a multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring that our patients get the latest state of the art care.
I am a board-certified hematologist / oncologist at St. Luke's University Health Network. I received my medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and have been in practice for 26 years. My treatment consists of hematology patients, (which involves any blood disorder) along with oncology patients.
I have an active interest in research studies and head many of our clinical trials in oncology as the principal investigator. I’m also an associate professor at the Temple St. Luke’s School of Medicine. My clinical interests include hematology (anemia, thrombocytopenia), brain and nervous system tumors, lung cancer, lymphomas and leukemias.I see patients at our Bethlehem and Miners campuses.
In my free time, I play the banjo (badly), train my rescue Bulldogs and swim.
