I am a gynecologic oncologist who treats women who have cervical, ovarian and uterine cancers. In addition to caring for my patients, I enjoy pursuing clinical research to help advance the field of oncology. I have a special interest in patient focused supportive care surrounding cancer treatment. In addition to research, I have strived to make an impact in patient advocacy through ACOG’s legislative boards and lobbying.
I received my medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital and completed my fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania.
While in fellowship, I was honored to receive a merit award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, which recognizes early-career oncologists who are committed to research and innovation.
Awarded with a National Institute of Health grant, I completed my Master’s in clinical epidemiology. I have been published in several journals including: Gynecologic Oncology and the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer. I have served as a research mentor to multiple medical student and resident initiatives and was an active member of the IRB board during my time at Penn.
