I graduated from St. Petersburg Medical School of Pediatrics in Russia in 1979 and did my pediatric residency training at Thomas Jefferson University. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I also am a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. Being raised in Russia, I bring a unique perspective to breastfeeding women, one where breastfeeding is more readily seen as the natural way to feed a baby. I am passionate about painting, fishing, classical music, opera ballet and being with my family and friends.
