My practice goal is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based pediatric health care. I focus on integrating mental health and developmental health so that I can formulate an individualized plan of care. I find that prioritizing early intervention and personalized treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care grounded in the latest clinical research and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams create the best possible outcomes for each patient.
I have more than 25 years of health care experience and have developed expertise in pediatrics, mental health, obstetrics, community health and education. In addition to my clinical work, I have served as a nursing instructor, developing curricula and mentoring future nurses. I am committed to advancing clinical practice through leadership and education.
I hold a post-graduate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification from Purdue University Global, a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College and an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Felician University. Additionally, I earned my school nurse certification from Slippery Rock University in 2018.
I have been an employee of St. Luke’s University Health Network for more than 15 years and work with an amazing team at the St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Center as a developmental pediatrics nurse practitioner. As part of the multidisciplinary group, my colleagues and I offer patients a team approach to treating complex pediatric developmental and behavioral cases. Together, we excel in advanced clinical interventions, triage and patient assessments, consistently maintaining the highest standards of care.
Outside of my professional commitments, I love helping animals. I volunteer with Brindle Buddies, a local animal rescue organization, and find it extremely rewarding to aid animals in need and enjoy helping them find their forever homes!
