As a physician, I strongly believe patients make the best decisions when they are well informed. I therefore take time to educate my patients about their condition and the treatment options available, including my recommendations, so that together we can develop effective treatment plans. Upper extremity injuries, especially hand injuries that compromise grasp, can significantly impact basic activities of daily living, and seriously affect our interactions with others. My goal is to ensure that each patient achieves the best possible outcome that in most cases is non-operative treatment but can also require surgery.
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. I am well-versed in the latest treatment techniques for the many conditions that affect the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. Having been trained at elite academic institutions, I completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Temple University Hospital followed by fellowship training in upper extremity surgery at New York University.
I have also been trained to undertake complex surgical reconstructions for both acute and chronic problems. Currently, I am a candidate member in two prestigious organizations, the American Society for Hand Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. I expect to be a full member of each in the future.
Outside of my professional activities, I enjoy being with my husband and our daughter. I also enjoy fitness training, travel, and good food.

“My regular provider had been called away to perform emergency surgery and my appointment would have been postponed, but the staff scrambled to get coverage and a cnp was called in so I was seen within minutes of my scheduled time. Excellent teamwork and efficiency!”

“Some of the answers to the questions appears low but it was confusion since this is my first visit. For example, did your provider call you with follow-up after test results- I said no because I was in the office, and we talked right there. I am so impressed by this doctor and look forward to the care she will provide. I also was thankful for the xray team who I promised to give a 10, they deserve a 20! The staff assisted me with my husband, who is in a wheelchair. I was able to have my visit and he had his. Totally warm and inviting practice, their friendly, caring, professionalism, and kindness warmed me. Thanking God I found a good team for our care.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our
nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do
