Diedra E. McCafferty, DO
St. Luke’s Wound Care Center – Quakertown
St. Luke’s Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center – Bethlehem
I am a board-certified family medicine physician who transitioned to wound management and hyperbaric medicine in 2016. Prior to joining St. Luke’s Wound Care Center, I was the Medical Director of the Wound Center at Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia and subsequently worked for Geisinger Health System in Scranton for a short time. I relocated to the Lehigh Valley with my husband William R. McCafferty, DO, and our family. We are both employed by St. Luke’s.
I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Scranton and my medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed a family medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency in Jacksonville, Florida. I have had a special interest in dermatology since my residency and have completed extra training and attended several conferences to further my knowledge and skill in this area. I received additional training in Wound Management while I was employed with Healogics. I currently see patients at the St. Luke’s Allentown Campus Wound Management Center, where I treat wounds of any etiology on any location of the body as well as supervise Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
