I ensure that ALL my patients are treated as “family.” As a physician, I consider myself privileged to be entrusted with the care of my patients. It is my duty and responsibility to provide counsel/educate, assess my patients disease process/severity and formulate an individualized treatment plan that best suits their needs and goals. I am a strong proponent of a multidisciplinary team approach, working in collaboration with my colleagues to achieve the best outcomes possible for my patients.
I am a board certified practicing vascular surgeon. I am also board certified in general and surgical critical care. My practice is 100% dedicate to the treatment of vascular disease. I see patients with a variety of vascular pathology including but not limited to venous insufficiency (varicose veins), peripheral arterial disease (PAD, cerebrovascular disease, stroke and mesenteric and aneurysmal disease. I am skilled in both minimally invasive (endovascular) surgery as well as ”traditional” open surgery.
I earned my medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a surgical residency at Christiana Care Health System, a vascular surgery fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center and a surgical critical care fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I am board certified in vascular, critical care and general surgery.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, working on various “house projects” but most importantly spending time doing “anything” with my beautiful wife and our two little boys.

“This was my first appointment with Dr DiMaggio. He was honestly one of the nicest, down to earth doctors that I have dealt with in a very long time. He took the time that we needed to explain my condition and understood my concerns. Honestly 10++, what a great guy!”

“My only concern is that there are no specialists of lymphedema in this area. I am told the nearest is in Pittsburg area. It is either a new disease or one of not great concern, unless one is dealing with it and concerned about needing a knee replacement on that leg. Possibly it is not a very exciting condition and the medical profession has a lack of medical staff who care to deal with it. Dr. DiMaggio is a fine doctor and helping me to the best of his ability if not over and above his best.”

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our
nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do
not necessarily reflect the views of St. Luke’s University Health Network.
“Have to say that having to tell the MA filling out my chart what gender I was "assigned" at birth just to be able to get into the chart Is flat out stupid and really has no bearing on the on my care what so ever. It was very refreshing to have some one ask questions and actually listen to my responses to those questions about why I was there very refreshing to have Dr. Dimaggio actually looking at me and engaging with me during the visit and just looking at a computer screen typing away and not really focusing on me and the reason I am there. The staff was very friendly and very helpful trying to get an ultra sound scheduled on one of my days off that Dr. Dimaggio needs me to have done.”
