Lehigh Valley Style Who Is Who in Business
March 09, 2021
St. Luke’s University Health Network has been named to Lehigh Valley Style’s Who’s Who in Business in four categories: Hospital, Birthing Center, Physical Rehab/Physical Therapy and Oral Surgery.
According to Lehigh Valley Style, the 2021 Who's Who in Business listing is the essential guide to the leading products and services offered in the Lehigh Valley. Who's Who in Business is not a popularity contest: it's an annual scientific survey that reaches out to thousands of local residents to ask about their experiences and uses that information to determine which businesses and organizations have fostered positive consumer relationships over the years by providing valuable services and a commitment to quality.
Who’s Who in Business is an accurate survey of consumer preference in the Lehigh Valley. FieldGoals.US, an independent market research firm, was contracted to conduct an objective, unbiased and statistically sound survey of Lehigh Valley residents.
St. Luke’s is proud to have been named to Lehigh Valley Style’s 2021 Who’s Who in Business list,” says St. Luke’s Chief Quality Officer Donna Sabol. “This award is a credit to St. Luke’s outstanding leadership, providers, nurses and hospital staff and volunteers who day in and day out maintain an unwavering focus on quality and patient satisfaction. I couldn’t be prouder to work with such wonderful caregivers.”
The Who’s Who award is further acknowledgement of St. Luke’s commitment to excellence. St. Luke’s also was recently named the winner of the 2020 Richard A. Norling Premier Alliance Excellence Award. Premier Inc. presented the annual award to St. Luke’s for exemplifying the highest level of industry innovation and advancements in delivering high-quality, cost-effective care.
St. Luke’s has also earned an “A” rating for safety from the Leapfrog Group; is ranked #1 in the Lehigh Valley and #6 in the state by U.S. News & World Report; was named one of the “World’s Best Hospitals” by Newsweek; was awarded 5 stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid; and is an 8-time recipient of IBM Watson’s 100 Top Hospitals designation (Major Teaching Hospitals), among other awards and accolades.
