Doctors to Speak on Diabetes Prevention and Care at Nazareth Library

St. Luke’s University Health Network internal medicine physicians, Juliana Sotherland, MD, and James Kamau, MD, will present an hour-long talk on “What is Diabetes and How to Eat Better and Prevent Disease” at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 23.
Their talk is the first in a series on health and wellness topics to be held at the library the last Thursday of every month through October.
The second lecture will be “Hypertension: How Changing Your Lifestyle Can Help You Treat the Disease.” It will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. Other topics are to be determined.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required for this educational program; please register at the main desk or call 610-759-4932.
The library is located at 295 East Center St. in Nazareth.
