Quakertown Pediatrics Joins St. Luke's

Under the leadership of Eduardo A. Cevallos, MD, Quakertown Pediatrics joined St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) on July 1, 2019. The practice has relocated to 237 N. West End Boulevard, Quakertown with a new name, St. Luke’s Quakertown Pediatrics. Patients will continue to receive the same high-quality health care with the added benefit of additional support services provided by the St. Luke’s Network.

As part of SLUHN, families will have access to St. Luke’s pediatric specialists, providing extraordinary care for extraordinary kids where and when they need it. Specialty services include gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, endocrinology, dermatology, developmental, psychiatry and cardiology. In addition, St. Luke’s Pediatrics is expanding inpatient pediatric services to include a brand new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The new unit is scheduled to open in early 2020 at St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem.

Dr. Cevallos has been caring for children in the Quakertown area for more than 40 years. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to primary care pediatrics, Dr. Cevallos has a special interest in helping children with ADD and ADHD. His colleague Dr. Rima Strassman is board certified in pediatrics, a Fellow in the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an experienced pediatrician who specializes in breastfeeding medicine and general pediatrics.
