Allentown Campus President's Rock Band to Play at Mayfair

May 23, 2019

When St. Luke’s Allentown Campus President Bill Moyer isn’t running Allentown’s biggest hospital, he’s… ROCKING!

Moyer moonlights as rhythm guitarist in Rebels of Grundy City, a local alt-rock band. Rebels – which recently dropped its debut CD, “Rebel Sun,” now available on iTunes – will be performing this weekend at the Mayfair festival of the arts in Allentown. The trio will perform on the St. Luke’s Band stage at 6:15 Sunday, May 26th, on the grounds of Cedar Crest College.

“We had a great time last year,” Moyer said of performing at Mayfair. “We got to play and afterwards partake in all the activities. There were many good food vendors. This year there will be over twenty… [including] beer and wine vendors.”

Rebels previewed its Mayfair set on WFMZ's 69 News at Sunrise. The band played its new single, “Feeling Loud.” Check out the performance here: https://www.wfmz.com/news/69news-at-sunrise/local-bands-prepare-for-mayfair/1079712611.
