Scenic St. Luke’s Bike Ride to Benefit St. Luke’s Hospice

Are your tires inflated and your chain lubed? It’s that time of the year – the St. Luke’s Charity Bike Ride will be held on Saturday June 2nd at 10 am on the D&L Trail to raise funds and awareness for hospice care.
WHAT: St. Luke’s 8th Annual Charity Bike Ride
WHEN: Saturday June 2, 2018 at 10am (Registration 8:30 to 9:45 am)
WHERE: Lehighton Trailhead, 200 North Main Lane, Lehighton, PA 18235
This event allows bike enthusiasts of all abilities to participate in either a 20- or 30-mile ride. Rain or shine, the rides begin on the D&L National Heritage Trail, Lehighton Trailhead, 200 North Main Lane, Lehighton.
From south of Jim Thorpe, the rides traverse along riverbeds and the canal towpath, as well as some paved sections. The riders will see museums, the Appalachian Trail crossing, an environmental center and beautiful views of the Blue Mountains, Appalachian Trail and Lehigh Gap.
The entry fee is $40, which also covers a participation bag, performance T-Shirt and a bike or helmet loan from Pocono Biking (if needed). All proceeds benefit the St. Luke’s Hospice program.
