St. Luke’s Baby & Me Support Center is a place where moms and the entire family can get a little extra guidance, reassurance or just someone to talk to. After feedback from patients seeking resources not only during pregnancy and delivery, but after coming home from the hospital, the Baby & Me Support Center was created to address that gap of care that exists between pregnancy and post-delivery. The Center will provide moms with access to resources commonly needed before, during and after pregnancy, like pediatric services, pre and post-natal classes, support groups, lactation consultations, postpartum wellness services and a play area.
“We look forward to continuing to lead the way to better health in the region through excellent care of moms and their babies,” says Jared King, Service Line Administrator, Women’s and Children’s Services. “The St. Luke’s Baby & Me Support Center and the entire St. Luke’s Baby and Me philosophy, represents a continuance of what St. Luke’s has always been known for – providing the highest level of maternal and newborn care through a compassionate and personalized approach.”
The Support Center will host a community Open House where attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility and speak with representatives from lactation and behavioral health services, pediatricians, baby and me yoga instructors and much more! There will be giveaways, raffles, refreshments, demos and activities for the whole family.
The Baby & Me Support Center is one of the many ways that St. Luke’s gives moms the personalized attention they deserve while they get to know and care for their babies. St. Luke’s believes that when moms feel educated, prepared and supported, they are able to give their babies a healthy start in life.
