Now that I’m healthier, I am pursuing all my dreams – like traveling cross-country, staring as an extra and stand-in on television shows and finally wearing the fashion I’ve always admired on other people.– Michelle
Like many people, I’ve battled with my weight all my life.
I always felt like a failure because I couldn’t control this one area of my life. I was aware of weight loss surgery, but wasn’t sure if I was “fat enough.” I suppose I was in denial about just how heavy I had become and how it was impacting my health and my life in general. Now that I’m healthier, I am pursuing all my dreams – like traveling cross-country, staring as an extra and stand-in on television shows and finally wearing the fashion I’ve always admired on other people. I tell people the surgery is like a wedding; life afterwards is like a marriage. Both involve preparation for one big event, but love, mindful attention and patience are what lead to success.
